BE Forward Wanderers FC Team Manager Steve Madeira says there is something special waiting to come out from Lali Lubani this year after his team went top of the TNM Super League on Thursday afternoon following a comfortable 2-0 win against Blantyre United.
“It was a good game of football. Happy not to concede still – 3 points in the bag. We have to carry on like this . We are in for something special this year. All we have to do now is keep this beautiful result at the back of our minds and quickly start thinking about Red lions and plot how we are going to get the 3 points over them,” he said.
The Team Manager further said despite the win, he can’t describe today’s performance as the best. He however thanked Precious Msosa, Ted Sumani and Khumbo Ng’ambi for their improved performance.
“[It was] not a good performance but what mattered most was the 3 points, and special mention should go to the young boys, precious, Ted and Khumbo they are working really hard and doing well, as a team we happy and forging ahead,” he concluded.
Precious Msosa’s first-half strike plus Yamikani Chester’s goal were enough for the home side to secure all three points at MDC Stadium in Blantyre.
