Be Forward Wanderers players on Monday night were treated to a special dinner by the mayor of the city of Quelimane for their six star perfomance against Quelimane City select which was comprised of stars from a Mozambican League teams.
The game ended 4-2 after penalties in favour of the home side.
However, the Nomads dominated the whole game and no wonder their 3 goals which they scored were dissalowed for off side.
The Nomads accompanied the mayor of the city of Blantyre,who was invited to attend Quelimane City 75th Anniversary celebrations.
As a token of appreciation for their perfomance,the mayor of Quelimane organised a dinner to the players in the evening.
During the dinner the players were also treated to traditional dances and the crowning of the most beaultiful face competition in Quelimane.
Speaking after the dinner,Be Forward Wanderers vice general secretary Chriss Kananji hailed the mayor of Quelimane for his gesture and said the players relaxed their minds in Mozambique.
Kananji also hailed the mayor of the city of Blantyre for choosing Be Forward Wanderers to accompain him on the trip.
In his small speech,the mayor of Quelimane city said he was impressed with Wanderers perfomance and said they will be a return match in Malawi.
