Dennis Chembezi will return to full training on Monday, team doctor Samuel Matukuta has confirmed.
Chembezi suffered a knee injury with the Flames in Morocco, and the injury forced him to miss Saturday’s League encounter against Blue Eagles.
Matukuta told Be Forward Wanderers media on Sunday that Chembezi will resume training on Monday as the team is preparing for Carlsberg Cup encounter on Tuesday against Dwangwa United at Kamuzu Stadium.
This is a massive boost for the Nomads as they set about trying to close the four -point gap further between themselves and League leaders Nyasa Big Bullets.
However, he needs to reach match-fitness and won’t be ready to play on Tuesday, but team manager, Steven Madeira was pleased to welcome him back into the fold.
“He will return to training on Monday which is very good news,” said Madeira.
Another player who is expected to resume training is midfielder, Felix Zulu who suffered an ankle injury during training.
