Nali Group of companies has set the ball rolling in developing sports in the country following their announcement that they ready to venture into partnership with Be Forward Wanderers FC.
The announcement was made in Blantyre during luncheon ceremony which the company organized for Wanderers players at their Nali Lodge premises.
Nali Group of companies Director of Finance and Administration, Orpa Khoromana said they organized luncheon to Wanderers FC for grabbing the Wafa-Wafa Big 4 Football bonanza.
“We were part of sponsors in the bonanza, and we thought it wise to organize luncheon to Wanderers as a token of appreciation for their performance and winning the cup,” said Khoromana.
She also said their company is ready to partner Wanderers FC, because they feel it’s a big brand.
“Wanderers is a big brand with intelligent and ambitious officials. It is the wish of any company like ours to associate with this club, and we are ready to partner the club in any other way,”said Khoromana.
In his remarks, Be Forward Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao saluted Nali for their gesture and said it was a morale booster to their players.
“We salute what Nali has done to our players, and we are also ready to enter into any partnership with them,” said Butao.
Also present during the luncheon apart from the players, were Be Forward Wanderers FC sponsors from Japan, Wanderers Trustees chairman Rashid Gaffar and executive committee members.
