Be Forward Wanderers Team Manager Steve Madeira has hailed Joseph Kamwendo’s “professional attitude” and his outstanding performance during Fisd Cup semifinal match against Moyale Barracks on Saturday which the Nomads won 2-1.
Kamwendo came from the bench to score his goal in the 86th minute through a free kick after Peter Wadabwa was fouled outside the penalty box.
Speaking to Be Forward Media on Monday Madeira described Kamwendo as genius.
“He started on the bench and when he came on 10 minutes in the second half he raised the tempo of the game. His experience helped us alot. We needed leadership as the game progressed and he did just that. Before scoring, he had also taken another beautiful free kick. He should have scored 2 from free kicks.
“Dude is a genius. He has exceptional talent. He has come back from suspension very strong and working really hard.”
Madeira further said he is very happy with Kamwendo’s “professional attitude” since he came from suspension.
“He knows what is required from him and he is doing exactly just like that. That’s how players should behave,” said Madeira.
