Castel Malawi Limited has unveiled football kits for Carlsberg Cup semi-finalists who are set to meet over the weekend.
Be Forward Wanderers, Nyasa Big Bullets, Masters Security and Hangovers received the kits during a presentation ceremony held at Mpira Village in Blantyre Thursday.
Castel Senior Brands Manager, Twikale Chirwa, said they were impressed with the organisers up to this stage.
“We are very happy with the way the competition has been run and we are looking forward to the semi-finals and indeed, the final.
“We also extend our gratitude to Football Association of Malawi as they have run the competition professionally. Teams need to get new kits at this stage and we have fulfilled our promise” he said.
Chirwa further said to spice up the semi-final matches, their company has lined up a number of activities.
Speaking after receiving the kit,Be Forward Wanderers team manager,Steven Madeira said they were prepared for Hangovers.
“As Wanderers we can accept to be humiliated at our backyard with Hangovers and l can assure them that this is the end of the road for them because we want to grab the cup,” he said.
Wanderers will face Hangovers on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium,while in another semi final encounter,Nyasa Big Bullets will be hosted by Masters Security at Civo Stadium on Saturday.
