Two BE Forward Wanderers will on Tuesday November 14, fly to Japan where they are expected to attend trials with various clubs.
The duo are Jabulani Linje and Precious Msosa.
According to the Club’s General Secretary Mike Butawo, the players will be in Japan for 30 days and the club’s sponsors, BE FORWARD who are also funding the trip, will release the names of the clubs as the trials take place.
“This is great for the players because it is every player’s dream to play professional football. To play in Japan is probably even beyond one’s wildest dreams. Japan is the ideal platform for one to expose one’s talent to the world,” said Butao.
Butao therefore said this is not just about Wanderers, it’s news that every Malawian should be proud of.
“Malawi as a nation will obviously benefit from the advanced training and exposure these guys will get in Japan if they pass their trials. Jabulani is already in the national team and he will obviously become an even better player. Precious is only 20 years old and he is a future Flames player. Also their success will open doors for more Malawian players to go to Japan,” he said.
The General Secretary further thanked BE FORWARD Japan for the support and all opportunities they are creating for the players and a club as a whole.
He added: “For Wanderers, we are honoured to have such sponsors who are always creating opportunities for our players to actualize their dreams and we know local players will realize that Wanderers is the place where their dreams can come true.”
We wish Jabulani Linje and Precious Msosa all the best.
