We sat down with the Nigerian striker to discuss becoming a Nomad, his playing style and his admiration of the club.
This is what he said:
Baba, after all the talk and you finally scored for Be Forward Wanderers on your League debut. How does it feel?
Finally! I’m really happy especially after scoring the two goals against Mzuni. Some people talked a lot but God’s time is the best and it felt good that my first League game we won and l scored. so I’m really happy to be here in this great team.
What is it about Be Forward Wanderers that you like so much, that appealed to you?
I think the club has such a big history and great players like our coach Bob Mpinganjira who was also a great striker for the club way back . He’s an example for us strikers. I’m really happy, like I said before.
What is it about Bob Mpinganjira that you loved so much?
Because he was fast and scored a lot of goals. He’s really an example.
Sounds like you…
Maybe! I think I have to work a lot to be like him, but I will do.
How would you describe your playing style?
I’m a fast player and I score goals too. But as I said, I have to work a lot more.
Finally, what’s your message to the Wanderers fans?
They are so lovely and l urge them to continue encouraging us with their vocal support during games otherwise I will do my best to make them happy
